After a
week in Singapore Björn and I finally arrived at Melbourne
International Airport. We didn't basically know where to
go from there! At the airport we saw a couple of guys that
looked Swedish and we were right! Magnus and Håkan
were waiting for Sweden's best soccer team, which of course is
Malmö FF, to arrive after a tournament in Hong Kong.
The Malmö players were surprised, to say the least, when they
saw our little reception committee!
Magnus and Håkan had bought a car a couple of weeks
earlier down in Adelaide and they asked us if we wanted a
lift. -Sure why not! We found a Guesthouse in the St.
Kilda area, parked the car and went to the nearest bar and got
a couple of 'get to know each other beers'... It turned
out well! Our planned routes were about the same, up to
Sydney then heading for Cairns. They had the car and we
decided to share all expenses from there. |
