If
you're in Queensland you definitely want to swim in the Ocean,
right? We where there in early March which means "Stingers"
season! Forget swimming in the Ocean! Deadly Box Jelly
Fishes everywhere... We got a tip from our Guesthouse
owner though. Go to Crystal Cascades he said, just
north of Cairns. It was a beautiful place! OK, the first thing
we saw was that "Stinging Tree" sign (!) but
it was really a great place! Jump from the cliff if you dare
or get acquainted with the rainforest. We also found a "Drive-Trough
Bottleshop" on the way up to CC... Just in case
you're thirsty... |
