The World's longest gondola cableway, Skyrail, travels a 7.5 kilometre route from Smithfield to Kuranda through world heritage listed rainforest. Along the way there are two stations where passengers can disembark and explore the forest floor and view the spectacular Barron Gorge and Falls. A rainforest interpretive centre is also features in this multi-tourism award winning attractions situated just 15 minutes from Cairns. Winner of the 1999 Australian Tourism Award "Major Tourist Attraction".

Tjapukai Cultural Theme Park
The Tjapukai Cultural Theme Park is a unique attempt to explain Aboriginal culture in a broad thematic way.
